About Us

The Victorian Students’ Aid Program (VSAP) is a student initiative which delivers needed equipment and health resources to disadvantaged communities in both the developing world and Australia.

We obtain wish lists from underprivileged medical facilities, gather donations in Melbourne, solve logistical issues, and send the package alongside medical students who will travel there during their elective. Since 2005, we have sent medical equipment alongside students to Guatemala, Tanzania, Vanuatu, and East Timor, Northern Thailand, Ethiopia, the Solomon Islands, Zambia, and Uganda.

While we remain committed to our original mission, we hope to promote awareness, advocate change, and ultimately to raise students at the University of Melbourne to be the change they want to see in the world.
